- Users below the applicable age of digital consent must have any legally required parent or guardian involvement.
3. Author Ownership and Copyright
Authors retain ownership and copyright of original works they create and publish on Laurèvia.
By uploading a book, an author grants Laurèvia a non-exclusive permission to host, store, display and distribute that work through the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
This permission does not transfer copyright ownership to Laurèvia.
Authors confirm that they have the rights and permissions needed to publish the material they upload.
4. Publishing Rules

Laurèvia may investigate reported content and take appropriate action in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
5. Book Visibility and Removal
Authors may be able to save books as drafts, publish them, make them private or remove them, depending on the available platform features.
Making a book private or deleting it may not undo previous purchases or remove copies that readers have already lawfully accessed.
6. Pricing and Author Earnings
Where paid publishing is available, authors may choose the price of eligible books in accordance with the platform's pricing rules.
The proposed revenue allocation is:
- 70% of eligible net book-sale revenue to the author.
- 30% of eligible net book-sale revenue to Laurèvia.
The meaning of net revenue, payment processing fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, payout schedules and minimum payout amounts must be specified in a separate author agreement before real payments begin.
No earnings are guaranteed.
7. Reader Purchases
Readers must review the price and purchase details before completing a transaction.
Completed purchases will be associated with the reader's account so that eligible purchased books can remain accessible in their library.
Refunds, payment disputes and access after refunds will be handled under the published refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Platform Availability
Laurèvia will aim to keep the platform available and functioning, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Maintenance, technical problems and circumstances outside the platform's reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
